Relationship between Students’ Perception of a Rubric for Oral Presentations and Their Academic Characteristics

The use of rubrics in the evaluation oral presentations has been associated with several benefits for students. However, it is unknown whether students better academic marks and greater self-regulation find more useful or not. This paper aims to assess relationship between how perceive a rubric their characteristics, analyze congruence professor’s students’ evaluations when using rubric. Eighty-five studying Degree Sport Sciences participated this study. A was used performance. then filled out questionnaire about perception validity rubric, an assessment performance, questionnaire. Inverse correlations were observed record two items (r < −0.24). Direct also found learning oriented four > 0.22). There very good (ICC = 0.78). results suggest that instrument ensure fair consistent evaluations, despite possible differences evaluators.
